God’s Best Friend is your resource in need. God’s Best Friend was founded in compassion by Sharon Bynum, who is on a lifelong mission to give back and to strengthen the community through supporting its most at-risk and vulnerable individuals.
Our Mission and Vision is to make everyone feel that they are God’s Best Friend: that they are heard, appreciated, loved, valued, respected, and included. This is no small task, but it’s a vital one for the health of our communities, country, and world. Our vision is that everyone is healed, empowered, and uplifted so they can live their best lives with joy, passion, and purpose.

We accomplish our mission and vision through spiritual counseling, group therapy sessions, workshops and discussions, seminars, and special events, including the Beauty to Ashes gala dinner to honor our nation’s homeless veterans who have given so much to our great country but have been short-changed since their return to civilian life.
